At Panache Enfants, our mission is simple: to provide a nurturing, turn-key solution to early childhood education and care, from infancy through Kindergarten. Our approach combines guided play with our instructor-led PanacheGurus academic curriculum, ensuring students begin elementary school “more than ready.” We are committed to developmental appropriateness and a deep understanding of what’s best for kids, creating an environment where children can thrive.
Meet the Founders
Shilpa and Mandeep, known affectionately as Mama Bear and Papa Bear, have been the driving force behind Panache since its founding in 2012. Fiercely dedicated to the Panache family, they are not just leaders, but mentors and advocates for every child and team member in their care.​

Shilpa, with a Masters in Teaching from St. Mary’s College of California and years of experience as a credentialed California teacher, is the visionary behind the PanacheGurus curriculum. She has worn every hat—from architect and trainer to advocate and motivator—designing a program that goes beyond excellence to
empower children and staff alike. Each child she meets becomes a cherished part of her heart and inspires her to keep raising the bar.
Mandeep complements Shilpa’s creative vision with his quiet strength and keen eye for detail. A professional Electrical Engineer and Project Manager with over 25 years of experience, he oversees Panache’s business operations, finances, and facility maintenance. Whether troubleshooting behind the scenes or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, Mandeep is the steady foundation that keeps Panache thriving.
Together, Shilpa and Mandeep live locally in Pleasanton with their three children—Raunak, Ranbir, and Naaz—and their lovable Golden Doodle, Gabru. Deeply rooted in their community, they spend their time volunteering at school events, cheering at sports games, and opening their home to family and friends. The same joy and warmth they cultivate at home flow into Panache, creating an environment where every child feels like family.
How Panache Began: A Legacy of Education
At Panache Enfants, we believe every child deserves a safe, inspiring place to learn and grow. This belief is rooted in a rich legacy of education spanning generations of educators and caregivers in the Gupta-Panech family. Inspired by this heritage, our founder, Shilpa, decided to leave her corporate finance career to create Panache Enfants, blending her family’s values with her vision for empowering children.
The name “Panache Enfants” (pAH-nAHsh AHN-fahnts) pays homage to Shilpa’s mother’s childcare program, Petits Enfants, and the Panech family name. In French, it reflects our mission to nurture confident, energetic children ready to embrace the challenges of elementary education.
Built on a foundation of care, trust, and joy, Panache Enfants is a labor of love, embodying the values that have guided our family for generations. Together with parents, we strive to help children thrive, preparing them to step into their futures with confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
